We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Lead (Defect Lead) to join our team in Chennai

Responsibilities:
Lead defect triage meetings with development, integration, and testing teams to ensure efficient resolution of issues.

Analyze customer requests with business & development teams to develop efficient solutions and ensure customer satisfaction using JIRA.Leverage Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies to analyze testing requirements.

Actively participate in testing communities to contribute to knowledge management and improve testing practices through continuous learning.
Raise and track defects within the designated Test Management tool.
Generate Test Summary reports for each sprint/release using the recommended Test Management tool.
Navigate the organizational structure effectively to connect with relevant teams for optimal collaboration.

Mandatory Skillset:3+ years of hands-on experience querying JIRAFamiliarity with Zephyr Scale, Xray for JIRA

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field8+ years of experience in Quality Control, Assurance, & Test ManagementSolid understanding of JIRA defect management & test management functionalitiesProven ability to write complex filters & jQuery for filters & dashboardsFluent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities
