Weare looking for a Senior Data Engineer


Joining the compression team at Siemens Energy, theData Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading data architecture anddata-related initiatives.

This role involves hands-on work with data ingestion,data modeling, analytics, and working in a data ops team to drive data andanalytics forward.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement ETL/ELT processes to load and transformdata in Snowflake.2. Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, anduser-defined functions in Snowflake.3. Write efficient, reusable, and scalable Python codefor data processing and transformation.4. Design and implement data workflows using ApacheAirflow.5. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists,and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.6. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integritythroughout the data lifecycle.7. Implement best practices for data management andstorage in Snowflake.8.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliverhigh-quality data solutionsRequiredQualifications:Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in data engineering.

Proficiency in Python programming and experience withdata-related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).Strong SQL skills for writing efficient query.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and best practices.
Experience in snowflake and cloud platforms (e.g.,AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
