AWS Director

Position PurposeAs the AWS Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers who deliver innovative solutions our customers.
You will be responsible for India team delivery to be of high quality, liaison with various team members like other team leads, project management, managed services, and sales team members, as well as at times interact with client.
You will also drive the innovation and growth of the AWS Practice, by identifying new opportunities, developing new capabilities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job ResponsibilityExperience of leading multiple projects and teamsBe available in-person in Hyderabad with commitment to office presence as per site working policies.
Lead work scope understanding and detailing with onsite or client teams.
Estimate and plan work for India team to deliver.
Review delivered work for requisite quality.
Actively participate in Solution Engineering and Pre-sales activities including solutioning, estimation and drafting of proposals and contractsDriving training & development and knowledge sharing aspectsActively participate on India team growth for additional team size and new technical skills.
Will be jointly responsible for operational metrics for India team.Hands-on Technical skills on:Expert knowledge of AWS Services and Cloud ArchitectureExperience with serverless solutions utilizing AWS Services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.
Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies such as ScrumExperience in building AI applications (desirable)CompetenciesPersonal:
Strong people skills, high energy and enthusiasm, integrity, and honesty; flexible, results oriented, resourceful, problem-solving ability, deal effectively with demanding situations, ability to prioritize
Leadership:
Ability to gain credibility, motivate and provide leadership; work with a diverse customer base; maintain a cheerful outlook. Provide support and guidance to more junior team members, particularly for challenging and sensitive assignments.
Operations:
Ability to manage multiple projects and products. Perform task at hand in a customer friendly manner while utilizing time and resources efficiently and effectively. Utilize high level expertise to address more demanding situations, both from a technical and customer service perspective.
Technical:
Ability to understand all technical components in Analytics space including Data Science models, AI/ML models, ETL frameworks, Data Visualization etc.
Education, Experience and CertificationDegree related to Computer Science, MIS, or IT-related in AWS Architecture or related fieldsconsulting experience in technology related projectsProfessional certifications in AWS such as DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect.
