Solutions Architect – Clinical/EMR

What you'll achieve
As a Solutions Architect – Clinical/EMR you play a key role in leading the digital transformation agenda and solutioning activity for our most substantial deals, driving enhanced performance across patient experience, operational efficiency, and clinical effectiveness. Collaborating closely with a skilled team, your work will have a profound impact on the healthcare domain.

You will own the following roles and responsibilities:
  • You'll excel in defining innovative solutions that leverage both Dedalus and partner capabilities to maximize client and patient value, integrating products from Dedalus' global portfolio into the ANZ region.
  • Architect integrated solutions across diverse hosting environments to meet business goals and align with Dedalus' architectural standards and best practices.
  • Develop solutions in line with business, portfolio, and product roadmaps, adhering to industry and internal policies, while balancing stakeholder objectives and technical best practices.
  • Utilize cloud platform services knowledge to craft solution architectures for cloud native and hybrid landscapes.
  • Ensure architectures comply with established governance processes, policies, and standards within Dedalus globally and regionally.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders, including Project Managers, Solution Architects, and technical team members.

Essential Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information and systems management, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the ICT field.
  • Minimum 5 years in a solution architect role, with diverse architecture skills.
  • At least 3 years of Cloud experience (preferably Azure and AWS) and legacy applications in a Managed Services environment.
  • Familiarity with formal architecture frameworks and modelling languages.
  • Ability to lead architecture workshops and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in security protocols and standards, such as OAuth, SAML, and SSL/TLS, and their application in securing solutions.
  • Proven understanding of healthcare application integration.
  • Experience with task management tools.

Desirable Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience with healthcare vendors or employers in healthcare and life sciences.
  • 3+ years of Integration Architecture and Data Architecture experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in HL7 and FHIR.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and project management methodologies.
  • Strong grasp of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices, along with understanding of ITIL processes.
