Job Overview:

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for leading the HR function across all company locations, ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with the company's business objectives.

This role involves managing the entire HR team, with a specific focus on corporate-level HR activities, including Performance Management Systems (PMS), training and development, and employee engagement.

The CHRO will also oversee recruitment and retention efforts, with a strong background in manufacturing environments and a comprehensive understanding of both plant and corporate setups.

A keen understanding of financial aspects, including cost analysis, is essential.

Responsible for HR Vertical as a whole (managing entire HR team across 4 locations)

Specific focus on Corporate level HR – PMS, Regular training & development, & Employee EngagementRecruitment & Retentionb) Desirable:
Having worked in a manufacturing company with exposure to both plant as well corporate set up.
Understanding of finances – cost analysis.2)

Principal Accountabilities:
a)

Strategic HR Leadership :
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on key organizational and management issues.
Drive cultural transformation initiatives to support the company's mission and values.b)

Talent Acquisition and ManagementOversee the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies, including succession planning, career development, and leadership development programs.
Ensure a robust onboarding process that integrates new hires smoothly and effectively.

c) Employee Engagement and Retention :
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and surveys to assess workplace morale and address concerns promptly.

Training & Development :
Regular Training & Development to upgrade employee professionald)

Performance Management :
Design and manage an effective performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.e)

Key Decisions:
Mention the authority that the jobholder has; typical decisions made by this position.f)

Recommendation made by this position for decision by the Superiors:
Decision (Self).Decision recommended to Superiors for approval.
Cost Analysis.
End-to-end leadership of HR vertical.
Recruitment & Training.

Conduct cost analysis and develop HR budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
Provide insights on HR-related financial decisions to ensure cost-effective HR operations.

Skills & Knowledge:
a)

Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in strategic planning and execution in HR.b)

Skills and Competencies :
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Deep understanding of labor law and HR best practices.
Ability to think strategically and act operationally.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Financial acumen with experience in cost analysis and budget management.
