Your role as a Data Engineering Associate Director -

As a Data Engineer, you will create and deliver solutions that help our agency teams stand out in a highly competitive environment. The ideal candidate will be driven to accomplish tasks, enjoy continuous learning, and develop software using cutting-edge technologies and solid engineering methods.

Our team seeks a top-performing Data Engineer tasked with designing, implementing, and supporting a data-focused software platform. The ideal candidate should be proactive, prioritize quality and professionalism, and have expertise in the following areas, which will greatly enhance their ability to start strong:

  • Solid grasp of media measurement and currency datasets
  • Cloud infrastructure and data processing technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review business needs and collaborate with product owners to establish a scalable solution
  • Integrate with third-party API's for data consumption
  • Independently handle data analysis, ETL design, and development
  • Work with various product teams to devise solutions that meet business goals
  • Adhere to best practices in data architecture and processing
  • Enhance and expand backend systems for efficiency, reliability, and scalability
  • Produce technical documentation for each solution
  • Engage in projects within an agile setting

Requirements

You're the right fit if you:

  • Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Have over 3 years of coding experience for integration with different API endpoints
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Are familiar with coding languages like Python or Scala
  • Have knowledge of big data processing technologies such as AWS Glue, Databricks, etc. (preferred)
  • Have over 3 years of experience with SQL and databases
  • Are at ease with data warehousing concepts, data preparation, and setting up automated workflows
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Exhibit strong data analysis abilities
  • Have experience in connecting and merging diverse datasets
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
