Retail Pricing Shared Services sets prices for all Amazon formats, earning our Customers' trust with consistently low prices.

We publish 5Bn+ weekly prices for 20+ Amazon formats (Retail, S3P, Fresh, Promotions, Amazon Business, and others), own new pricing strategies and deliver them reliably at scale, and prevent errors in our prices.

We own a central pricing infrastructure and federate it for our client formats, and utilize ML to automate our pricing decisions.

Key job responsibilities
What would I do in this team?

You own a global mission with large Customer impact: in this role, you determine and set the best prices for Amazon Customers in a key business area (e.g. Fresh or Retail).

Ask critical questions:
what seems impossible right now, but is actually ready for disruption? What can I do for my Customer to love their prices – not just to accept them?

Automate away human intervention.

We believe humans are ill-equipped to handle prices manually, and we are building a better world for our Customers with automation and ML.

A day in the life
Innovate and Automate by creating futuristic architecture that can scale and perform. Work with business stakeholders, science and product to solve customer problems. Mentor highly efficient tech savy engineering team.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Bangalore, KA, IND- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 6+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with distributed (multitiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
  • Experience in Machine Learning model deployment and operations
  • Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
