Database Analyst Job Overview:

Welcome to the database analyst position at our company In this role, you will play a crucial part in extracting, analyzing, and loading client data into our databases. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with client teams, designing efficient database structures, maintaining data integrity, and optimizing database performance.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Extract, analyze, transform, and load client data in various formats/sources into the database.
  • Design, build, modify, and maintain reliable database objects and reports to meet business requirements.
  • Generate and update database models and diagrams as needed.
  • Manage the data dictionary and technical documentation.
  • Ensure code quality and optimize database performance.
  • Collaborate with client teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct database tuning and optimization for enhanced performance.
  • Document processes, models, designs, and solutions for knowledge sharing.
  • Participate actively in meetings with client teams to gather requirements and provide insights.

Technical Skills:

As a database analyst, you should have a strong command of SQL queries and be able to efficiently retrieve and manipulate data. Additionally, you should possess the following technical skills:

  • Experience with MS SQL Server or similar database management systems.
  • Ability to design and implement efficient database structures and data models.
  • Knowledge of optimizing SQL queries and database structures for better performance.
  • Understanding of techniques like indexing and query tuning for optimizing SQL queries.
  • Experience in integrating data from various sources and ensuring consistency through ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with database security principles and access control measures.
