The department encompasses various verticals including Branch Operations & Management Information Systems (MIS), Controlling (Employee Services, Banking & Payments, Accounting), Taxation, Treasury, and Process Management.

About the Position

Managing the Shared Services Accounts Payable Function as a Manager/Team Leader - 12+ years of experience Ensuring the team's work is accurate and invoices are approved as per organisations policy. Monthly GRIR clearing and review / Knowledge on Monthly and yearly provisions Vendor Invoicing Domestic and Foreign Transactions / monthly closing in line with controllership team Review of vendor advances and closure Knowledge on GST / work closely with Tax team on GST related issues Resolution of issues escalated by Vendor and Internal stake holders Ensuring Compliance with tax and other statutes applicable on Invoice processing Handling Internal and statutory audit queries - Responsibility for generating journals for month end reporting Responsibility for reconciliation of supplier statements Initiating new changes and completing ongoing improvements to the accounts payable process and continuous interaction with the IT team for such developments. SAP AP Process Level Knowledge to provide requirement from Accounts Payable Prospective to IT Team User Roles and Authorization in SAP

Areas of Responsibility

Payables Supervisor leading a team of 8 employees for the Vendor Payables all India.

Experience in handling the accounts payable function preferably in a Shared Services set up Skilled and Trained in SAP Implementation Ability be hands on whenever the work situation demands Thorough understanding of accounts payable as well as general accounting principles relating to month closing in SAP Working knowledge of GST and TDS - Hands on working experience in SAP or other major accounting ERP Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong Team management skills /Team roles and responsibilities Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced work environment with stringent deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to identify and manage new project initiatives

Ability to build good relationships with vendors and suppliers as well as internal customers

Educational Qualifications Required

MBA - Finance

Relevant Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience.
