A successful Platform Engineering Lead will:Be available to work out of our Bangalore officeA 4-year college degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, master's degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience10+ years of professional enterprise development experienceIndustry certifications on Kubernetes (CKA and/or CKAD), DevOps, and Cloud Platforms is highly desirableHands on design and coding experience on Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, Helm, Istio, ELK, Prometheus, Terraform, and PythonKubernetes – Strong building, troubleshooting, and management experiencePreferred Skills on Argo, Stack storm, Atlassian, Gitlab, Vault, Consul, Ansible, Redis, Postgres, API Gateway, Kafka, DevOps concepts
AWS:
4+ years experience
with using a broad range of AWS technologies (. EC2, EKS, EMR, S3, Redshift, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, SQS, Lambda, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, KMS, Kinesis Streams) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on Well-Architected Framework.
DevOps:
Experience
as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon AWS environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools. CI/CD process setup and support (Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, GitLab, etc).Have experience building and managing hybrid cloud platforms supporting large, highly available enterprise-grade applications
Scripting Skills:
AWS Infrastructure-as-a-Code using Terraform scripting.
Strong scripting (. Python ) and automation skills.
Operating Systems:
Linux/Ubuntu system administration
Monitoring Tools:
Experience with system monitoring tools (. Prometheus, New Relic, Pager Duty).
