KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform month end close financial activities within a defined timeline.
  • Handle revenue de-recognition process and record transactions.
  • Manage lease accounting and subledger reconciliation with General ledger.
  • Responsible for posting Manual Journal Entries post approval.
  • Analyze and post monthly expense accruals/amortization entries.
  • Run currency revaluation and update exchange rates.
  • Responsible for Cost & PCA allocations and Fixed Asset register maintenance.
  • Process Fixed Asset additions, transfers & disposal requests.
  • Reconcile Bank/Balance sheet Accounts timely.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Standards.
  • Prepare journal entries related to marketable inventory.
  • Reconcile financial footnotes/schedules as per SEC requirements.
  • Submit quarterly fair value and SFAS forms.
  • Ensure internal finance controls adherence.
  • Update process documentation regularly.
  • Liaise with auditors and handle queries.
  • Prepare local statistical Reporting for compliances.
  • Manage RTR KPI Targets.
  • Identify & implement process improvements.
  • Manage governance calls and address open items.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business partnering and stakeholder management.
  • Review and support peers/team members.
  • Provide reports and assistance to Finance Team.
  • Handle exceptions and perform root cause analysis.
  • Provide information, documents, and reports for audit.

ESSENTIAL:

  • 5 - 7 years of work experience.
  • Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred.
  • Minimum Education Qualification: CA/MBA Finance.
  • Good knowledge of accounting concepts and procedures.
  • Strong communication & Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving & organization skills.
  • Experience in managing people and processes.
  • Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in ERP/Accounting systems (SAP).
  • Act as strong Team Player.
  • Knowledge of European languages is advantageous.
