Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Jira instances, including user management, permissions, workflows, custom fields, and plugins.
  • Configure and customize Jira to meet the specific needs of our organization, including creating custom dashboards, reports, and filters.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Jira users, including resolving issues related to workflows, permissions, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions to improve our use of Jira and other Atlassian tools.
  • Stay informed about new features and best practices in Jira administration and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Manage Jira upgrades and migrations, ensuring mínimal disruption to ongoing projects and workflows.
  • Document Jira configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 46 years of experience administering Jira in a professional environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Jira administration.
  • Experience with configuring and customizing Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, and permissions schemes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Experience with scripting languages for automating Jira tasks is desirable.
