Prestashop Developer

Description

Responsibilities:

Development of client solutions

Engaging with end
- users to fully understand client expectations.

Managing technical delivery of integrations and custom extensions.

Providing hands
- on support in development, design, independent analysis and problem resolution.

Working on quick prototyping for proof of concepts during development of new business with new or existing clients

Requirements:

The Essentials:
Ideally educated to Degree level.

Self-driven, with an aptitude to learn and open to work across E-Commerce platforms.

Overall, at least 4 years of experience in which a minimum 2 years of experience developing on the Prestashop platform including:
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, etc depending on your technology stack)

Proficient in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming

Hands-on experience in Integrating with REST and SOAP based Web Services.

Produce code that is easy to read and understand.

Create good unit tests that provide more than just code coverage

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

The nice to have:
Knowledge in other ecommerce platform like WooCommerce, Opencart, Magento, Shopify, Commercetools, Bigcommerce etc will be preferred.
