What we're looking for:

Yolm is looking for a remarkable full-stack web developer. This is an amazing opportunity to get in early with a top-notch technology company that is growing rapidly with a vision to become massive. You get to work with great technologies, a modern code base and an exceptional technology team. This is a fully remote position.

This person will be responsible for building:

  • Reusable components for our proprietary component library. These are often full-stack components including SQL
  • Reusable pages or sets of pages (full-stack)
  • Service wrappers for external services
  • Reusable durable tasks

Hands-on knowledge of using Typescript and SQL to build professional, full-stack web applications is a must.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Fluent English is also a must.

Compensation:

$1,750 - $2,250 per month, depending on experience.

The components need to be of high quality in terms of look and feel, accessibility and usability, as well as have a good API to be easy to use by developers and need to be well written and tested so they can be maintained.

Learning

The person is curious and loves learning new technologies and approaches and keeps themselves up to date on all required technologies. The person is not shy to admit when they don't understand something and ask questions early and actively look up information to ensure they close the knowledge gap.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Typescript
  • CSS
  • SQL
  • Visual Studio Code or similar
  • Linux or Linux like operating system (MacOS or WSL) and basic command line commands
  • Github
