The Opportunity

As a Veeva Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that leverage the capabilities of both Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, designing system architectures, and overseeing the implementation process. You will utilize your expertise in Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault to provide technical guidance and ensure the successful integration of these platforms. Additionally, you will collaborate with development teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices. As a Solution Architect, you will be a strategic partner to the business, translating requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. Your responsibilities will also include providing guidance on system enhancements, staying up to date with platform updates, and leading the evaluation and adoption of new features.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design end-to-end solutions that leverage the capabilities of Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault. Create system architectures, data models, and integration frameworks to ensure seamless interoperability between the platforms. Utilize your expertise in Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault to configure and customize the platforms according to business needs. This includes setting up data models, designing workflows, defining security settings, and creating custom objects and fields. Oversee the integration between Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault, ensuring smooth data exchange and synchronization. Design and implement integration workflows, utilize APIs and connectors, and collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless communication between the platforms. Provide technical guidance to development teams, assisting with solution implementation and troubleshooting. Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor team members on Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault functionalities. Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize business processes using the features and capabilities of Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions. Stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and best practices for Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault. Lead the evaluation and adoption of new platform features, assess the impact on existing solutions, and provide recommendations for platform upgrades and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful project delivery. Communicate effectively to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Create technical documentation, including solution design documents, integration specifications, and user guides. Conduct training sessions to educate team members and end-users on the functionality and best practices of Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience 5+ years of relevant professional experience working as Veeva architect or Salesforce architect. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault, including configuration, customization, and integration. Proficiency in utilizing platform functionalities, data models, workflows, and security settings. Proven ability to design scalable and efficient solutions using Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault. Strong understanding of system architectures, integration patterns, and data models. Experience in designing end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices. Deep understanding of integration techniques and technologies, including API-based integrations, web services, and middleware tools. Experience in integrating Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization. Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding and mentoring development teams. Ability to provide technical guidance, set coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools. Relevant certifications in Veeva CRM (such as Veeva CRM Administrator or Developer) and Veeva Vault (such as Veeva Vault Certified Administrator or Developer) are highly valued. Strong oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge. Proficiency in English in both verbal and written communication is a must
