Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase goods from internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers according to the delivery schedule, transportation mode, price, special requirements, and terms and conditions. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities are aligned with company purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by handling urgent situations to ensure timely deliveries.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Releasing purchase requisitions and initiating purchase orders in the system, aligning them with customer requirements (based on ERP and standard operation procedures) and as per the release strategy and table of authorities.

• Monitoring suppliers' order acknowledgments and dispatch advice, along with the inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation processes.

• Tracking the purchase orders backlog and performing regular expending activities with internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers to ensure customer on-time delivery.

• Minimizing the late backlog by proactively identifying root causes and implementing recovery plans; and tracking goods received at the warehouse to verify appropriate delivery and ensures invoice processing and high customer service level.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with Supply Planning, Interaction with vendors and the electrical industry market
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 5 to 8 years of experience in P2P process
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in Knowledge of MS applications and SAP
• Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering
• You are at ease communicating in English
