Job Title: Cloud Data Architect
We are in search of a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect with extensive expertise in overseeing the complete data landscape, covering data ingestion, transformation, processing, and consumption.The ideal candidate should have a solid background in program management and technical governance, coupled with profound knowledge in data architecture.Additionally, the applicant should have practical experience with various ETL tools, especially Informatica, Hadoop, Cloudera, and the Azure data factory and toolset.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient data architectures to support data ingestion, transformation, processing, and consumption.
  • Define and implement data modeling and schema design best practices for structured and unstructured data.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to optimize data processing and storage.

Data Ingestion and Transformation:
  • Develop strategies and processes for efficient and reliable data ingestion from various sources into the cloud environment.
  • Design and implement data transformation pipelines to cleanse, enrich, and aggregate data.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ingestion and transformation process.

Data Processing and Analysis:
  • Architect scalable and high-performance data processing frameworks for big data analytics.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define data processing requirements and optimize performance.
  • Implement distributed computing techniques and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) to enable parallel processing of large datasets.

Data Governance and Program Management:
  • Establish data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards, data quality processes, and data lifecycle management practices.
  • Manage data-related projects and programs, including resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.

ETL, Cloud Data Platform Toolset:
  • Utilize a wide range of ETL tools such as Informatica, Hadoop, Cloudera, Apache Ni-Fi for data integration and transformation.
  • Leverage Azure data factory and related toolset to orchestrate data pipelines and workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud data technologies and recommend suitable solutions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and database design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools, including Informatica, Hadoop, Cloudera.
  • Proficiency in Azure data services, including Azure data factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, etc.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures, specifically in the context of data management and analytics.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data lifecycle management practices.
  • Excellent program management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., Azure certifications, Informatica certifications).
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and their data services.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
