Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with a specialization in Machine Learning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding, statistical modeling and numerical methods with a solid foundation in linear algebra. The candidate should have graduated preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, demonstrating a strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve business problems.
  • Design and implement experiments to validate hypotheses and improve model performance.
  • Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data-driven solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through data visualizations, presentations, and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical modeling, numerical methods, and linear algebra.
  • Experience with data preprocessing techniques such as feature engineering, normalization, and dimensionality reduction.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
