Position Summary:
To provide advice and guidance at regional/divisional level and effectively manage a team of professionals and/or subject matter experts.
Responsibilities may include interfacing with Corporate level management.
Skillsets: Data and Business Analytics, Advanced Statistics, Stakeholder Management, Project Management Tools - Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, SAS, Python, Tableau/Power BI/Spotfire Education – MBA/Masters in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics & statistics from tier 1 institutes Good to have –
Experience in pricing and revenue management, customer segment analytics, rates and pricing management Exposure to predictive analytics, ML/ AI techniques is an added advantage Cloud computing, big data, Azure Transformation of current Pricing process – Carefully studies the current process for gaps in efficiency and effectiveness, and works with cross functional teams and regional teams to enhance and transform the process.
Data mining to improve efficiencies: Utilizes the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Marketing / Pricing data marts in Global Pricing domain and digital analytics platforms to improve productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Evaluates outsourcing solutions and products, and works with vendors to plan and execute work as and when necessary.
Functional/ Product Support: Creates or Engineers integrative solutions for regional and central functions in all stages of cross functional development i.e. Ideation to Launch measurement.
Ensure Compliance Requirements are adhered: Acts with fiscal responsibility in all aspects of the job, agreed parameters & in compliance with all relevant regulatory & legislative requirements of the division and FedEx
standard processes.
Allocates and prioritizes resources effectively to manage the US, global, regional demands.
Stakeholder Management and delivering business proposition: Needs to have strong global stakeholder management skills, to engage with sales and marketing stakeholders across all levels.
Engages with the of US and Intl pricing leadership as and when necessary in socializing and justifying the analyses and recommendations to all stakeholders.
