**Functie-eisen

Leeropdracht

Het CG onderzoekt momenteel of en hoe de Nederlandse watersector (bedrijven, kennisinstellingen, privaat-publieke instanties) het best gepositioneerd kan worden in Zuid-India. Om te bepalen waar concrete kansen tot samenwerking en het inzetten van Nederlandse expertise op watergebied liggen is een duidelijker beeld van de uitdagingen en mogelijkheden op dit terrein in Zuid-India nodig. De stagiair(e) zal worden gevraagd om, onder begeleiding, een onderzoeksrapport op te stellen dat inzichten geeft op dit vlak. De concrete invulling van de stage opdracht zal in overleg met de stagiair(e) worden afgestemd en vastgelegd.

**Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken**:
Het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken is de spil in de communicatie tussen de Nederlandse regering en de regeringen van andere landen én tussen de Nederlandse regering en internationale organisaties. Het ministerie coördineert het buitenlands beleid van de Nederlandse regering, inclusief de ontwikkelingssamenwerking, en voert dit uit. Naast het departement in Den Haag opereert het ministerie vanuit ambassades, permanente vertegenwoordigingen en consulaten-generaal, verspreid over de hele wereld.

CG Bangalore is een relatief nieuw consulaat-generaal (opgericht in 2018), en India is een boeiend maar niet altijd makkelijk land om in te wonen en werken. Dat vereist een zekere pioniersmentaliteit, openheid van geest en doorzettingsvermogen. Tegelijk is Bangalore de modernste stad van India, met minder vervuiling en een veel aangenamer klimaat dan bijvoorbeeld New Delhi. Het is ook een relatief veilige stad met een vriendelijke bevolking. De stad kent relatief veel expats en biedt veel mogelijkheden voor vermaak (bars, restaurants, bioscopen, winkelcentra, openbare parken).

Het werk op een kleine post is veelzijdig en zorgt ervoor dat je als stagiair(e) ervaring op doet met het brede spectrum van werken bij Buitenlandse Zaken.
