Job Title:
Drafter (AutoCAD)

Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and layouts using AutoCAD software based on specifications from engineers and architects.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to interpret concepts and convert them into accurate and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy in scaling, dimensions, and details of drawings.
  • Organize and manage drawings and related documents for easy accessibility.
  • Assist in revising drawings based on design changes and project updates.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
  • Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features and tools for enhanced drafting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in AutoCAD drafting or similar CAD software.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of drafting techniques.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in creating technical drawings.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve draftingrelated issues.
