Purpose of Role:
Providing for the design and delivery of technically appropriate solutions to Gentrack customers in projects, adhering to enterprise and application architecture principles for the system being implemented in accordance to the project scope and governance.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
OperationalThe management of the technical aspects of project delivery to provide effective, analysis, design, programming and testing in the production of large software implementationsTechnical architecture and review of solutions proposed by the project delivery teamsProducing architecture and design artefacts as deliverables to the project scope Maintaining and developing "best of breed" implementation and project delivery processesMaintaining current knowledge of Gentrack business plans, product and future developmentsProviding technical and product consulting both internally and externallyWorking with customers and other Architects, particularly on larger projects, to define requirements and specifying optimum design for solutions
LeadershipMotivation and support of project delivery teamsLeading and mentoring team members at all levels to promote and develop strong technical expertise and practises across Gentrack's professional services
FinancialAssist in maintaining and improving staff recovery levels (productivity) on projectsProtecting project budgets by adhering to project scope and ensuring solutions are appropriate and efficient
SalesSignificant input into preparing project proposals as required
Customer ServiceContributing towards long-term business relationships between Gentrack and customersPromoting Gentrack's products and solutions to customers and endorsing best practise amongst the Gentrack user group
ComplianceReviewing solutions for compliance to product architecture and documenting outcomesSupporting the internal quality and control requirements defined by company policyTo abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.

Additional TasksIs capable and available to handle pressure situations including on-call and out-of-hours incidentsThis role entails both domestic and international travelIn addition to this you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your Manager

Experience / KnowledgeMinimum 8 years' experience in technical leadership of large implementation projectsEnterprise solutions in software developmentSDLC and Project MethodologiesShould have knowledge in BSS domain along with SQL and API exposure.
