Role Overview:

In this position, you will collaborate closely with experienced engineers in a dynamic setting. Your main responsibilities will involve supporting and addressing infrastructure issues for our cloud-based platform. You will play a key role in managing real-time incidents related to infrastructure alerts and ensuring deployments for our clients. Additionally, you will engage with customers and internal teams to optimize network performance and uptime. A successful engineer in this role will have a strong passion for networking and delivering exceptional service during critical network events.

  • Take proactive and reactive measures to maintain network uptime for our clients.
  • Provide direct support to clients requiring assistance with configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Offer real-time guidance to customers on network setups.
  • Document actions taken in incident management and ticketing systems as necessary.
  • Establish trusted advisor status internally and externally.
  • May assume a technical leadership role during network incidents.
  • Collaborate with and assist cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and collaborate with senior engineers on process improvements.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Act as the technical lead on a shift when required.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience with Customer Support and Service Management portals.
  • Strong ability to diagnose server or network issues.
  • Proficient in interpreting and explaining log files.
  • Familiarity with Disaster Recovery plans and related technologies.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with network deployments and supporting corporate customers in production environments.
  • Ability to convey technical information to customers of varying technical levels.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with F5 hardware, software, and utilities is a plus.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Network Engineering.
  • Prior experience in SOC or NOC.
  • Background in customer service and incident management.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced operations environment.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral); multi-lingual capabilities are advantageous.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Duties are primarily performed in an Operations Center setting.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts in a full-time position.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours.
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to 5%), including internationally.
