Job Title: WMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Business Analyst (BA) or Product Owner (PO)
Company: Join our team as a highly experienced WMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) taking on the roles of Business Analyst (BA) or Product Owner (PO). This position is crucial and requires your extensive WMS knowledge to seamlessly integrate into the team and minimize the learning curve.
As a WMS SME, you will be the connection between business requirements, development teams, and client operations, ensuring successful WMS implementations with the SAFE 4 Agile approach. Utilize your WMS expertise to provide guidance to both the team and clients efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with business and implementation teams to collect and analyze requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise user stories for development using your deep functional knowledge.
- Take charge of the product backlog, prioritizing user stories while aligning them with project objectives.
- Proactively engage with developers to ensure technical feasibility and a user-centric experience.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and guarantee client satisfaction with deliverables.
- Promote the SAFE 4 Agile process and effectively manage the product backlog within this framework.
- Stay updated and continuously learn about the latest WMS advancements. Must have a minimum of 5+ years of active experience in a WMS product (Manhattan/JDA/Infor/High Jump/SAP WMS) as a BA or PO (not just a Module Analyst).
- Demonstrated successful history of delivering WMS implementations using Agile methodologies.
- Thorough comprehension of core WMS functionalities, including warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and integrations.
- Strong skills in business process analysis and mapping.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to bridge business and technical teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
