Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who can:
Create and document Test Automation approach/ strategy

Gain stakeholder/s buy-in from global teams including architecture, engineering and support teams

Implement and package technical reusable solutions into test environment

Develop & Support the PODS across the stream to implement the reusable utilities/ framework


Assume more responsibility, including deep troubleshooting technical skills and translating the requirements into common, reusable utilities, root cause analysis results, remediation actions, etc.


Skills:

Must have

8+ years of relevant experience

Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of developing java based test automation tools/frameworks

Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of working with test automation for API Testing with tools like SOAP UI, Rest Assured, Karate

Good scripting skills:
Autosys, Python, Unix Shell

Working knowledge of any cloud provider (Azure preferred)

Experience in implementing automated tests, contributing to release and iteration planning; developing working practices of the team

Knowledge of messaging services:
TIBCO, MQ etc

Knowledge and experience of working with a code repository and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Teamcity, Jenkins, Gitlab

Nice to have

Applied solutions to cater for non-functional requirements including

stability, manageability, scalability, capacity and performance

Banking / Investment Banking domain experience
