Job Description: The STP Operator plays a vital role in the maintenance and operation of our sewage treatment plant. This position is key to ensuring the proper functioning of the STP, protecting the environment, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sewage treatment equipment and systems.
• Monitor and control sewage treatment processes.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Collect and analyze samples for quality control.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Record and maintain accurate operational data and logs.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and upgrades.
• Assist in training new operators and staff.
• Participate in emergency response and containment activities.

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in wastewater treatment is preferred.
• Proven experience as an STP Operator or in a related role.
• Knowledge of sewage treatment processes, equipment, and systems.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and safety protocols.
