Responsibilities:

  • Assure that all packaging operations are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures and that product packaged meets all specifications.
  • Supervise and support all assigned personnel. Schedule personnel to maximize efficiency. Ensures that assignments are completed according to schedule to meet daily output goals, and ascertains that line is running at maximum speed.
  • Ensure that products are properly staged and that all necessary supplies and components are available when needed. Verify accuracy of all materials, components, and labeling received prior to the completion of the previous job
  • Ensure that rooms & equipment are cleaned at all times, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform inspections to verify cleanliness of areas and equipment. Ensure that personnel maintain the area in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
  • Ensure that all logbooks, master records, and other official documents are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Check equipment to ensure that proper setting, speed and fill levels are maintained. Ensure that inprocess testing is conducted and documented in a timely manner.
Review and approve all labeling materials prior to use.

  • Conduct routine inspections to assure that all personnel are performing duties in accordance with master instructions, FIFO, and Standard Operating procedures. Inspect packaged product frequently during the operations to ensure that all specifications are met.
  • Ensure that operations are conducted to achieve 100% accountability for components, product and labeling materials.
  • Transfer all completed, unused and/or spoiled components such as finished goods, labeling materials, finished product retainers, water and rejected materials to the appropriate areas. Complete component usage records for inventory purposes as required.
  • Packing Line Leader must perform proper setup of equipment.
  • Line Leader must be 100% accountable to meet daily output standards, and must document deficiencies if expectations are not met.
  • Packing Line Leader must train all assigned personnel in the proper techniques required for performance of their duties.

Qualifications:
B.E/B.Tech with minimum 3years experience
