Your Responsibilities:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing and maintaining a crucial AWS-Cloud Analytics platform in our Healthcare division. Your expertise will drive the strength, efficiency, and continuous enhancement of this vital platform, contributing significantly to our R&D efforts in discovering new drugs. Additionally, you will be involved in shaping the technical roadmap and system architecture for the platform's future growth.

You will be responsible for implementing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing tools like AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes, and Airflow. Your role will also involve refining data pipelines, improving analytical workflows, and ensuring data processing reliability and efficiency.

Expectations include ensuring network security, managing IAM policies, and safeguarding data integrity across our services.

  • Python
  • AWS services including VPC, IAM, EKS, RDS, EC2, ECS, Route53, CloudWatch, and more

  • Web Development tools like NextJS, Storybook, and Tailwind

  • OpenSearch / ElasticSearch

Who You Are:

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficient in AWS services mentioned above
  • Skilled in Python, especially for infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and boto3
  • Hands-on experience with AWS-managed Kubernetes clusters
  • Capable of designing systems in a cloud environment
  • Knowledge of R and SAS is advantageous for data analysis and modeling
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and preferably NextJS
  • Willingness to work in a global setting with teams in the US, Europe (particularly, Germany), and India
  • Strong sense of responsibility, quick learner, and preferably experience in a regulated environment (GxP)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
