Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of PHP developers, offering technical direction, mentorship, and assistance to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including designers, product managers, and quality assurance, to create and implement top-notch web applications.
  • Architect scalable and efficient PHP solutions that meet business needs and align with industry best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and compliance with coding standards.
  • Participate actively in coding and development tasks, leveraging your deep PHP technical knowledge.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Engage in the entire software development cycle, from requirements analysis to maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in PHP applications.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance development processes and drive innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor team performance, track project progress, and report key metrics to management.
Requirements:
  • 7 to 10 years of PHP development experience, focusing on web application development.
  • Proficiency in PHP, including frameworks like Laravel, Zend, or CodeIgniter.
  • Thorough understanding of database concepts and experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Proven hands-on coding skills and ability to contribute to development tasks.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Solid grasp of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated track record in refactoring and restructuring PHP projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in PHP applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
