Role Overview:
We're on the hunt for a highly skilled and seasoned Technical Architect to take the reins of our engineering squad.

This pivotal position involves not only steering the team through the intricacies of software development but also serving as the primary architect in crafting solutions that align with business needs.

The perfect candidate will possess a solid background in software architecture, particularly focusing on EDI systems.

Key Responsibilities and Team Leadership:

• Lead the engineering team to ensure top-notch productivity, quality software development, and team unity.
• Guide team members and cultivate a culture of creativity and ongoing enhancement.

Technical Architecture:

• Devise and execute resilient, scalable, and effective software architectures for EDI and logistics solutions.
• Verify that architectural blueprints adhere to industry standards and client specifications.

Solution Design:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, and clients to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
• Formulate comprehensive solution design documents and specifications.

Project Supervision:

• Monitor multiple projects from inception to conclusion, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to overcome any architectural or technical obstacles.

Innovation and Exploration:

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the ports and logistics sector.
• Lead R&D initiatives to explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies that can enrich our products and services.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as a vital technical intermediary between the engineering team and external stakeholders, such as clients, partners, and vendors.
• Communicate intricate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years in a technical leadership or architectural capacity.
• Profound understanding of EDI standards and protocols, particularly in relation to the ports and logistics sector.
• Demonstrated track record in designing and implementing large-scale software solutions.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and oversee an engineering team.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Candidates should be located in or willing to move to Mumbai.
