Founding Blockchain Engineer - Tokenization & Ownership Authentication

About the Role :

MoonDay Capital is launching a powerful new product line focused on tokenizing real-world ownership - from private equity and real estate to luxury assets and legal titles. We're in the early discovery stage and seeking a Founding Blockchain Engineer to help us design and build the core platform.

This is not a standard developer job. we're looking for a builder who has already done this (or something similar) and is ready to take charge of both the technical direction and execution. You'll work directly with the founder, and your input will shape what gets built, how it's architected, and how it scales

What You'll Own :

  • Architect and deploy smart contracts (Solidity) using standards like ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155.
  • Design token lifecycle logic: minting, ownership tracking, secure transfers.
  • Select and configure infrastructure tools - MetaMask, Infura/Alchemy, IPFS/Arweave.
  • Guide blockchain selection (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, etc.).
  • Lead testing, security reviews, and versioning of smart contracts.
  • Contribute to early product direction. you'll help decide what we build and why

Who You Are:

  • You've already built and deployed a real blockchain-based product (tokenization, NFTs, DeFi, or real-world asset linkage).
  • Deeply experienced with Solidity and EVM compatible chains.
  • Comfortable working with tools like Hardhat, Foundry, OpenZeppelin, Web3.js/Ethers.js.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and excited about defining your own workstreams.
  • Collaborative communicator - you'll work closely with the founder on everything.
  • No formal education or job titles required - we care about what you've actually built.

Bonus Points If You Have :

  • Experience with tokenizing off-chain assets like shares, real estate, or documents.
  • Worked on full-stack Web3 integrations (wallet UX, dashboards).
  • Awareness of token compliance frameworks (KYC, Reg D/Reg A+).
