What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineering Professional do?

The Quality Assurance Engineering Professional will be responsible for preparing and performing tests scenarios and test cases based on business, functional and non-functional requirements for Custom Modification Signature Projects. Required to work in collaboration with Business Analysts and Developers to perform quality testing for the modifications for Signature Banking clients and prepare the test artifacts. Providing Test script and Test Results walkthrough to Business Analysts and other stakeholders. Performing system testing effectively by ensuring the successful completion within the given timelines and SLAs with great accuracy. Coordinating with Clients and various stakeholders by keeping them informed with timely updates and keeping track of the project progress and timelines and milestones. 

What you will do:

Preparing tests scenarios and test cases based on business, functional and non-functional requirements Performing Signature System testing with great accuracy and creating test artifacts like test scripts and test results thereof Ensure to complete the testing for the project as per pre-defined milestones, leading to timely completion of all deliverables. Work as per the defined project scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Work in collaboration with the Business Analysts and technical resources Prepare test data to perform system testing using basic SQL and Banking knowledge

What you will need to have:

0-5 years of overall rich experience in Banking or Financial domain. Excellent Knowledge of Core Banking System in areas like Payments, Lending and Deposits. Having experience in Finale, Flexcube or Signature Banking application. Knowledge of basics of US Banking would be an added advantage Experience in deriving and drafting test scenarios and test cases from Requirements Documents Expertise in performing System testing and capturing the test results in a comprehensive manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group executive, managers, business analysts and subject matter experts Uses independent judgment to identify problems and provide solutions. Basic SQL knowledge for data mining to perform detailed testing coving the requirements scope Proficient with advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint.

What would be great to have:

Graduate or equivalent Degree in any stream. (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or Business is preferred).
