About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead a team of sales professionals in various locations across India.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building, motivating, and managing a team of approximately 40-50 Business Development Executives (BDEs) to meet monthly targets without compromising on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain 100% Monthly Targets through effective merchant onboarding in assigned geographies.
- Recruit, train, and build a high-performing team of Field Sales Executives and Team Leaders.
- Lead by example, keeping the team motivated and ensuring they meet quality parameters as set by the company.
- Grow channel business in assigned territories by leveraging strong relationships with channel partners and distributors.
Requirements:
- A postgraduate degree in Business Administration (MBA).
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in field sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of success in team management.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and regional languages.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling large teams.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and basic data analysis.
- Presentation skills that enable effective market presence.
