We’re Hiring: Senior Draftsman


Location: Thrissur, Kerala


Consultancy: IN Design Services




We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Draftsman with 8+ years of experience in interior fit-out and joinery works. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, detail-oriented, and able to deliver precise and efficient drawings while coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams.


Experience Required: 8+ years (UAE/India experience preferred)


Immediate joiners preferred




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




- Prepare, review, and develop detailed drawings for fit-out and joinery works.


- Ensure all drawings are technically accurate, coordinated, and aligned with design intent.


- Provide value engineering (VE) options and technical solutions for design and site-related issues.


- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methodologies.


- Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients.


- Maintain high drafting speed while ensuring quality and accuracy.


- Review design intent drawings and prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical details.


- Identify discrepancies in drawings and propose corrective actions.


- Support the project team in resolving technical and drawing-related queries on site.


- Maintain drawing records and revisions systematically.




KEY REQUIREMENTS




- Diploma / Degree in Civil / Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent.


- 8+ years of drafting experience with a strong background in fit-out and joinery works (UAE/INDIA experience preferred).


- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.


- Solid understanding of interior architectural detailing, joinery works, and fit-out technicalities.


- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.


- Excellent communication and coordination skills.


- Immediate availability preferred.




ADDED ADVANTAGE




- Familiarity with Revit / BIM drafting (optional but beneficial).


- Experience working with design consultants and contractors in UAE/INDIA.


- Problem-solving mindset with proactive technical inputs.
