Your Team Responsibilities:MSCI Inc. is seeking to expand its ESG Client Service team. MSCI ESG Research is a leading provider of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research to institutional investors globally. Successful candidates will have a financial background, client service experience, and exhibit an interest for the ESG business. They should have proven abilities to develop strong working relationships with external clients learn MSCI ESG Research products and guide clients to better use those products. Our clients span some of the world's largest pension funds and asset managers. Managing the relationships for a portfolio of clients exposes the analysts to a wide range of institution types and ensures a challenging role with daily client interactions. To succeed in the role, analysts must learn about ESG products and issues, about their client's line of business and investment process, and then bring that knowledge together to provide insight and best practices to those client organizations. Client service Analysts must be adaptable, eager problem solvers, and able to lead cross-organization teams. Great communications skills are a must as they represent MSCI to all levels of client management.
Your Key Responsibilities:- First point of contact for general queries directed to client services by phone, email or online case management
- 3-5 years of work experience in ESG (Client Service function would be preferred)
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or Master's Degree preferred
- Strong interest in ESG and how ESG factors impact the investment process
- Must be attentive to detail with a willingness to learn and grow per the business goals
- Must have an appreciation for diverse cultural norms and styles
- Prior knowledge of MSCI products and experience of a client facing role (preferred)
