Cooler Technician

Position: Cooler Technician

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in fixing and repairing refrigerators, coolers, and chillers.

Salary: BD 200 (including food)

Accommodation Allowance: BD 40

Transportation: Provided for close areas

Leave Policy: 30 days annual leave per year

Working Hours: 48 working hours per week

Skills:

Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigerators, coolers, and chillers.
• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and mechanical systems used in cooling equipment.

Problem-Solving:

• Strong diagnostic skills to identify issues with cooling systems quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to fix common and complex faults in refrigeration and cooling systems, minimizing downtime.

Customer Service:

• Ability to interact professionally with clients, addressing concerns and providing recommendations for system maintenance or upgrades.
• Clear communication skills to explain technical issues in an understandable manner to non-technical clients.

Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance:

• Install and set up new cooling systems, including refrigerators, chillers, and coolers, in various locations.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing worn-out parts.
• Ensure all systems are functioning properly and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications.

Repairs & Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose faults in refrigeration and cooling systems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Replace damaged or faulty parts such as compressors, motors, and electrical components.
• Test and calibrate repaired equipment to ensure it is working efficiently after repairs.

Inventory Management:

• Ensure that tools, spare parts, and equipment are properly maintained and available for repairs.
• Report to management on the stock levels of parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs.
