Backend Python developer (at least 2 years experience) with AI/ML experience

Omnibound (www.omnibound.ai) is an Agentic AI platform for marketers to collect, prioritize and execute on real-time feedback. We are an early-stage company based in the US started by serial successful entrepreneurs who have created enterprise scale products partnering with SAP and Microsoft with a very successful exit in the past venture. Candidates joining us at this stage will gather an amazing experience in the new agentic AI world that will set up their career for decades to come.  

We are looking for a backend developer with AI experience who will be responsible for helping define the architecture and initial MVP of our product. This person should have deep technical experience in building SaaS applications from scratch that can scale to a large number of users and is a self-starter who likes to experiment.  

Requirements 

  • Proficient in Python and potential frameworks of Python like Django, Flask or FastAPI with at least 2 years of real-world development experience
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks and libraries like Tensorflow and Pytorch 
  • Potential experience with building agentic systems using frameworks like Autogen, Phidata or similar is a plus 
  • Potential experience with building RAG systems from reading unstructured files to chunking, vectorizing, retrieving and evaluating – and using libraries like Langchain or similar for this.  
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or similar 
  • Experience with vector databases like Milvus, Weaviate or similar 
  • Experience working with LLM's like GPT-4, Claude, Llama and Gemini  
  • Experience in working with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques 
  • Familiarity with agile web development methodologies, version control systems and coding copilots 
  • Strong problem-solving skills along with a self-starter entrepreneurial attitude 
  • Good English communication skills to work in an international environment
