Job Title: Billing Engineer (Electrical)Location: Gurgaon, Delhi NCRJob Type: Full-timeExperience Level: 2–5 yearsFunction: Project Billing / Quantity Surveying (Electrical)Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / MEPAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Billing Engineer (Electrical) to oversee commercial & billing aspects of electrical works across our projects. You will be responsible for BOQ interpretation, RA billing, contractor bill verification, material reconciliation, and progress reporting — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely clearances.ResponsibilitiesPerform quantity take-offs by analyzing electrical drawings & BOQsPrepare and submit RA/Progress bills aligned with site executionVerify contractor/sub-contractor bills with technical and financial accuracyConduct material consumption tracking & reconciliation vs. theoretical usageIdentify extra / non-schedule items and prepare competitive rate analysisMaintain complete billing documentation: measurement sheets, logs & reportsConduct site inspections for measurement validationCoordinate with site execution teams, clients & accounts for bill approvalsProvide monthly reports on billing progress, cost utilization & variancesWhat You’ll NeedDegree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant fieldMinimum 2 years experience in billing for electrical worksStrong understanding of BOQ, RA Bills & construction billing standardsAbility to interpret electrical drawings & technical specsProficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and measurement/billing softwareStrong documentation, tracking, and coordination abilitiesPreferred SkillsKnowledge of material standards & IS codesHands-on experience with site measurement & auditsFamiliarity with cost control & estimation practicesAbility to work under deadlines with attention to detail
