Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing activities for indirect materials, including production and process consumables, MRO items, and facility-related services.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supply continuity.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, RFQs/RFPs, and commercial negotiations to secure favourable terms.
- Ensure compliance with Incoterms, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and finance to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure service levels and continuous improvement.
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in indirect sourcing within the EMS or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of production/process consumables and general sourcing processes.
- Proficiency in Incoterms, contract management, and commercial negotiation techniques.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
Preferred Skills
- Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Experience working in a global sourcing environment.
- Familiarity with sustainability and supplier risk management practices.
