Department: DesignLocation: Cocoma Digital – Andheri West, MumbaiEmployment Type: Full-time (On-site)Experience Required: 3+ yearsReporting To: Creative DirectorAbout Cocoma Digital & StudiosCocoma Digital & Studios is a fast-growing creative and marketing powerhouse managing multiple brands and sister companies.Our digital wing specializes in YouTube growth strategy, social media marketing, content amplification, creator collaborations and performance-driven campaigns.Our studios division delivers premium post-production services for OTT, films, web series and global content — including localization, adaptation and creative finishing.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Motion Graphic Designer who can craft thumb-stopping visuals and animations for YouTube content, Reels/Shorts, brand campaigns and digital activations.You will collaborate with video editors, designers and content leads to bring stories to life with high-impact motion design that drives audience attention and engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesConceptualize, design, and animate high-impact motion graphics for trailers, title sequences, intros/outros, lower-thirds, kinetic typography, transitions, and dynamic social video assets.Develop platform-native motion content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts & digital campaigns — including animated thumbnails, logo reveals, motion loops, GIFs, hooks/openers, and text animation sequences.Convert scripts, mood boards, and creative briefs into visually compelling storyboards and motion narratives aligned with brand tone and audience psychology.Collaborate closely with video editors, graphic designers, and creative leads to ensure cohesive visual language, pacing, and motion style across projects.Manage multiple animation pipelines simultaneously — from concept to final export — ensuring timely delivery with pixel-perfect quality.Experiment with typography, textures, motion dynamics, frame-by-frame techniques & new-age trends to elevate visual storytelling.Evaluate and integrate innovative tools & workflows, including AI-enhanced motion techniques, to push creative boundaries and improve efficiency.Receive feedback constructively and iterate quickly while maintaining creative clarity and output excellence.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Motion Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication or a related creative field.Minimum 3 years of hands-on motion design experience in a creative agency, post-production studio, media house, or digital-first content environment.Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, & Photoshop (motion graphics, compositing, text animation).Strong foundation in animation principles, timing & rhythm, visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, and storytelling for digital content.Demonstrated experience creating motion graphics for YouTube, Reels/Shorts, digital brand campaigns, trailers & social content formats.Ability to interpret creative briefs and convert them into compelling visual motion concepts & storyboards.Strong creative problem-solving skills, ability to manage deadlines, and a meticulous eye for detail and consistency.Effective communication & collaboration skills — able to present ideas, accept feedback with clarity, and work seamlessly within a creative team.Bonus SkillsExposure to AI-motion tools (Runway ML, Pika, Lottie, etc.).Basic 3D/CGI knowledge (Cinema4D, Blender, Element 3D) is an advantage.Language & Communication ProficiencyEnglish & Hindi – RequiredAbility to communicate ideas visuals & storyboard explanations effectively.Collaborative attitude when working with creative, production & content teams.Tools & Technical ProficiencyAdobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, PhotoshopFamiliarity with AI-design tools encouragedBonus: Blender / Cinema4D / Runway / Midjourney exposureCocoma encourages exploration of emerging creative tools, especially in AI & motion workflows.Benefits & Perks4 Work-from-home days monthlyHealth insurance for employeesComplimentary lunch, tea, coffee & snacksCreative, collaborative & growth-focused environmentA Day at Cocoma Digital – Motion Graphic DesignerYour day begins by reviewing content schedules & creative briefs for YouTube & Reels.You’ll brainstorm animation concepts, design key frames, source typography and start building motion sequences.Afternoons involve refining animation flow, syncing motion with audio, and collaborating with editors & art leads.Evenings bring polishing, feedback rounds, exporting assets, and preparing templates for efficiency.Between projects, you experiment with new motion styles, transitions, AI tools and share creative learnings with the team.If motion is how you tell stories and you thrive in a fast-paced creative culture — we’d love to see your work
