Role: Senior C++ / C# Developer
Location: NYC
Exp: 8+ Years
Requirements

As a Senior C++ / C# Developer, you will bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. You will leverage your expertise to enhance the quality and implementation of our software products, ensuring high performance and reliability for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on coding responsibilities in C++ / C# and related frameworks.

  • Develop and maintain applications utilizing SQL database structures and the .NET framework.

  • Gain a deep understanding of Front Office trade flow, particularly equity trading and equity swaps.

  • Work effectively as a team player, demonstrating quick learning abilities.

  • Maintain and improve legacy systems while ensuring scalability and performance.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best software development practices.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance product development.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on coding experience in C++ / C#.

  • Strong experience working with SQL database structures and the .NET framework.

  • Solid understanding of Front Office trade flow, including equity trading and equity swaps.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience working with and modernizing legacy systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Location: This position is based in New York, and the candidate must be onsite three days a week without exceptions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS).

  • Experience working with cloud services, preferably AWS.

  • Familiarity with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and associated tools.

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and practices
