Siebel Engineer

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications

• Analyze and maintain existing software applications

• Design highly scalable, testable code

• Discover and fix programming bugs

Expectation

• 3+ years (minimum) - hands on Siebel CRM experience in Siebel development/ application maintenance and support.

• Expertise in Siebel - Configuration, Workflow, e- Scripting, Open UI, EAI and EIM (more skills, more weightage)

• Experience in Siebel 8.x and High Tech - Industrial Manufacturing will be an added advantage

• Working knowledge on Siebel Integrations - Web services (HTTPS), Business Services, Reports (BIP) and Workflows.

• Hands on Knowledge of XMLs, integration with ORACLE-Fusion Middleware, CPQ, and Salesforce desired.

• Excellent Siebel debugging skills to identify code/ data issues and their root cause.

• Knowledge in Open UI, SQL DBs, and Service Now is preferred.

• Good Analytical and Communication skills – needs collaboration with Global teams.

• Openness to work in second shift – 11:30am - 8:30pm IST supporting run and maintenance application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field

• Development experience with programming languages

• SQL database or relational database skills
