Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance, particularly within financial services and trading environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and integrity of our client's trading systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for trading applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Test Case Development:

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and scripts.
  • Design and implement automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.

Test Execution:

  • Execute functional, regression, performance, and stress tests on trading systems.
  • Conduct manual testing where necessary, ensuring all test cases are executed and defects are logged.

Defect Management:

  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
  • Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and verify fixes.

Performance and Load Testing:

  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability under peak trading conditions.
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in quality assurance and trading systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, in the trading domain.
  • Strong understanding of trading systems, FIX routing networks, financial markets, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of FIX Protocol.
  • Exposure to Equities, Options and Futures asset class.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JMeter).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and SQL.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
