In this role, you will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, defining sourcing strategies, and selecting providers that align with our customers' IT and automation strategies. You will be the trusted advisor, accountable for delivering highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that provide lasting and measurable value to our esteemed customers. Your expertise in prioritizing use cases, conducting ROI and business case analyses, and seamlessly incorporating security and resiliency into future state designs will shape the foundation for success.

You will strategically develop a future state vision and roadmap, revolutionizing the infrastructure and network requirements to meet the ever-evolving needs of both IT and business. You'll be the catalyst for improved performance and productivity, identifying areas where efficiency can be optimized, costs minimized, risks reduced, and performance enhanced. You will capture, prioritize, and analyze technical requirements, both functional and non-functional, ensuring that every aspect of the solution is meticulously crafted to perfection.

As an IT/Cloud Consultant at Kyndryl you will join the Kyndryl Consultant Profession, working with other Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts – presenting unlimited opportunities with unmatched support through our investment in your learning, training, and career growth.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

Overall 8-10 Years of experience whereas 4 – 8 years as SME or architect for Core Infrastructure and Cloud Experience.

Knowledge of Vmware, Hyper V, Windows & Redhat OS, Clustering, HA, Fault tolerance, DNS, DHCP, IP address, VLAN.

Must be aware about AWS Core Services such as EC2, S3 storage, RDS Database instance Or BOB Storage, Azure VMs, etc.

Hands-on Experience in setting up Services on AWS and good knowledge in Cloud Provisioning & Configuration.

Experience and knowledge of other datacenter infrastructure administration in the areas of Networking, VPN, IBM P series, Blade servers, ESX, Storage, Firewall, Switching / Routing is required. VMware NSX, Backup and Restore, Security for Cloud and IT Infrastructure.

Must be familiar with Security audits, Vulnerability scans etc.

Should have good understanding of Enterprise Networking, Data Center Networking and Cloud Networking.

Good knowledge of Load Balancers and its integration on Cloud and On-premises.

Good Communications, Consultancy & Presentation skill and familiarity with Visio, MSOffice.

Good collaboration and team working skills and well versed in learning and adopting new technologies

Understanding of standard application architectures and well versed with ISO standards for IT Infrastructure (i.e. ISO 27000) and ensuring Security compliances as per best Practices and adhere to standard.

Must have application architecture understanding & three tier applications architecture deployments.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Good to have understanding of DevOps concept and its tools.

Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes etc.

Good to have Cloud Migration experience especially on AWS Cloud.

B.E/B.Tech /MCA/ M.Tech qualification.
