Job Description

Fotato is an innovative food delivery platform designed to connect customers with their favorite restaurants seamlessly. We are on a mission to revolutionize the food-tech industry by offering a superior user experience through cutting-edge design and technology.


We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer with expertise in Figma and Next.js to design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to create compelling user experiences that drive engagement and conversions.


  • Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation in Next.js.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine designs and improve user experience.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with Fotato's brand and business objectives.
  • Ensure design consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to optimize the UI/UX process.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in the UI/UX and food delivery industry.


Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, design systems, and prototyping features).
  • Experience working with Next.js and collaborating with frontend developers.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX projects (preferably in the food-tech, e-commerce, or delivery industry).
    • Preferred
    • Experience working in a food delivery, e-commerce, or tech startup environment.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bridge the gap between design and development.
    • Experience in motion design or animation for enhanced UX interactions.

Requirements
- Solid understanding of PHP programming language. - Solid knowledge of Laravel framework. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development. - Food & Grocery Delivery Platform Experience a must *Preferred Qualifications:* - Experience with MySQL or other relational databases. - Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. - Previous experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom). - Portfolio or examples of previous Laravel projects (if available).
