Job Title: Academic Counsellor (Work from Home) – JEE/NEET Preferred

Location: Remote

Experience Required: 2 to 4 Years

What is this role?

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Education Counsellor to join our team. The Education Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students through the educational decision-making process, providing information on educational opportunities, career pathways, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their academic and professional future.

What You'll Do?

1. Provide personalized guidance to students regarding educational programs, courses, and career opportunities based on their interests, aptitudes, and academic background.

2. Conduct individual counselling sessions to assess students' needs, goals, and aspirations, and develop personalized academic and career plans.

3. Assist students in exploring various educational pathways, including college degree programs, vocational training, apprenticeships, and other educational opportunities.

4. Stay updated on educational trends, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and career prospects to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.

5. Coordinate with educational institutions, employers, and industry professionals to organize informational sessions, workshops, and career fairs for students.

6. Provide support and guidance to students throughout the application and enrolment process, including assistance with completing application forms, writing personal statements, and preparing for interviews.

7. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to address students' academic and personal development needs.

8. Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, student interactions, and progress towards educational and career goals.

9. Participate in professional development activities to enhance counselling skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field of education counselling.

10. Serve as a resource for parents, guardians, and other family members seeking information and support regarding their child's educational journey.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in academic counselling, preferably in JEE/NEET domain .
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills in English and Hindi .
  • Ability to handle student queries effectively and empathetically.
  • Familiarity with online education tools/platforms.
  • Must have a laptop/desktop, stable internet connection , and a quiet working environment.
