We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a deep understanding of data engineering principles to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have mastery in GCP data services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow, as well as expertise in ETL processes and data integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Expertise in GCP Data Services:
    • Manage and optimize GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow to handle large-scale data processing and analysis.
    • Design and implement efficient data workflows to ensure seamless data integration across GCP services.
  2. ETL and Data Integration:
    • Lead the development and implementation of ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) to ensure the smooth flow of data from various sources into the GCP environment.
    • Build and optimize data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data effectively.
  3. Advanced SQL & Database Optimization:
    • Write optimized SQL queries for complex data processing tasks, ensuring performance efficiency in GCP environments.
    • Optimize database performance and manage large datasets efficiently on platforms such as BigQuery.
  4. Project Leadership & Management:
    • Lead and manage data engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality solutions within deadlines.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to meet the needs of the business.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GCP and data engineering technologies, applying new tools and practices to enhance data solutions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and availability.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: 8-12 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Expertise in BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and other GCP data services.
    • Strong background in ETL processes and data integration on GCP.
    • Advanced proficiency in SQL and optimization techniques for large-scale databases.
