We seek an experienced, talented, and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you'll play a vital role in enhancing our data plane components, ensuring seamless scalability and performance.

The Day-to-Day

  • Design, implement, and maintain software for data plane components with precision and attention to detail.
  • Pioneer creative approaches to optimize performance and scalability, driving innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a cohesive team, fostering open communication and mutual support.

Your Expertise

  • Proven experience in software development with Python, Java, or Clojure, ideally with hands-on expertise in multiple languages.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and network troubleshooting, including dig, traceroute, ping, and more.
  • In-depth knowledge of web technologies, including HTTP, HTTPS, JS, DNS, and their intricate relationships.
  • Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, and other essential fundamentals.
  • Able to dissect complex issues methodically and articulate them in clear, detailed bug reports.

Your Success Factors

  • Experience with Nginx configuration and module development will be highly valued.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software development with Clojure, highlighting your adaptability and skillset.
  • Familiarity with software configuration tools like Ansible, VMWare, and Cloud-based servers (AWS, GCP) will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of additional network protocols like IGMP, BGP, VRRP, CGNAT will enhance your value to the team.
  • Strong verbal and visual presentation skills will enable you to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
