In this role, you will be responsible for the team's technical architecture and end-to-end quality of the code in our software solutions. Your primary focus will be on the Red Tagging app (PITApp), designed to empower Amazonians and external technicians to Red Tag PIT using their RF Scanners. Your duties extend to enhancing the existing team's platform based on business priorities, developing new applications, and seamlessly integrating various Amazon and third-party tools to deliver solutions for customers. As a developer, you will own a portfolio of tools and technologies hosted on AWS infrastructure. You will enable the department to scale by designing applications and as well as handling day to day support requests. Additionally, you will encourage and enforce best practices across the team to provide the highly consistent and scalable development environment needed to meet the demands of this dynamic and growing organization. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
