Telephony Engineer

Location- PuneBudget- 8 lpa Job Summary:Currently seeing a highly motivated, talented, and experienced IT professional to complement our industry leading IT Department as a Telephony Systems Engineer. Reporting to the Infrastructure Team Leader they will form an integral part of the Infrastructure Team in taking ownership and delivery for the maintenance and management of the Telephony system. The successful candidate will have prior experience of operating in a similar role. They will be expected to lead the technical delivery of projects with a strong emphasis on security, showing a positive attitude, initiative. They will be the go-to resource for their team and fellow Systems Engineers for telephony matters, so will possess all the essential skills and knowledge set out below, be highly technical and able to communicate effectively.In addition to project delivery, the Infrastructure Team act as an escalation point for Service Desk, so an aptitude for solving complex operational issues is essential.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Act as an escalation point for incidents, problems, projects and changesDriving improvement and innovation, challenging current technologies, processes and behavioursEnsuring availability, Integrity and confidentiality of IT Infrastructure services to meet agreed SLAs and KPIs are achievedUndertaking all activities with a primary focus on risk mitigation and data securityCarrying out day to day tasks relating to Telephony system and applications. Provisioning/de-provisioning including maintenance and monitoringManagement and strategic planning of IT infrastructure and applications capacity managementProducing regular reports on IT Infrastructure and application health, providing remediation actions and recommending improvementsCoordinating with 3rd party providers to ensure regular security and platform upgrade cycles are maintainedTroubleshooting complex issues with 3rd party support vendors such as Ring Central, Citrix and MicrosoftBuilding a strong working relationship with colleagues within the Infrastructure Services Team and the wider IT functionPlanning, managing and delivering changes from concept to transition into support.
